When you find a good one, you tend to stay with them. Borche's Hi Tec Auto Repair has been nothing but fantastic from the first time we went in "I think" for breaks to 2 years later of oil changes or valve intake repairs. From my experience most body shops are friendly and have good intentions but they still find a way to charge a little bit more than they should because the average customer does not know much about the inner workings of their own vehicle. That is not what you would get from this family ran organization. When you do come in, you are treated like family and treated fairly. Especially by Bob(father) and Jason(son). As long as I live close by, my car(s) will be repaired by no one else. Even if the dealership I purchased the car from provides a nice loaner.

I took my wife's 2018 GMC Acadia to the team at Borche's after the engine light came on. After going on a test drive with Jason, he determined that the truck was in need of a new Speed Sensor Wiring Harness. Jason got the parts that were needed and installed on the truck all within a few hours, and all while I was at work! I was able to drive the truck home in just a matter of hours after dropping it off for repair! And without breaking the bank! These guys are awesome! Last year I noticed my car was leaking oil. I brought it into the place that had done the suspension & oil change the week earlier. They said it looked to be coming from the rear main engine seal & they didn't do engine work. I found Borche's Hi Tec Auto Repair on google and chose to call them because they had good reviews. Even during COVID, they were able to get me in quickly. It turned out the leak WAS coming from my rear main engine seal. I needed a new clutch & flywheel as well. I had actually purchased an Exedy clutch and flywheel prior to my employer going out of business a while back. They were willing to install the parts I had previously purchased and even double checked to make sure they fit my vehicle before putting them in. Overall they did great work that was reasonably priced. Since then I have gone back a few other times for more repairs. They noticed during that job that my control arm was going, so a month later I went back in and got that repaired. Then one day when driving into work my speedometer quit working on me! Again they were able to get me in & fix the issue quick and at a good price all during COVID. Each time they were extremely polite, professional, great prices, everyone in the shop is nice and friendly. They are upfront and honest about your vehicle. This is legitimately a great company. I keep meaning to write a review and finally got around to it. :) I'm just happy I've finally found a good, reliable, and honest mechanic.

I brought in a Toyota Camry 1992 for a used car checkout, and Jason the mechanic got to it right away. He proved himself efficient, thorough, and knowledgeable. Although they seem are a GM shop, Jason had a lot of knowlege of Toyotas as well, sharing with me common maintenance issues with Camrys and Corrollas of a similar "vintage." I bought the car, and all of his assessments for repair needs were spot on. Very nice staff, tidy bright shop, family-owned, would bring my cars there again! Highly recommended.
